Central Ave. will be closed from 20th St. West to Oppenheimer. Justice Center Parking Lot from 7am-3pm.

PARKING – The Justice Center lot will be accessible from Oppenheimer, and is a suggested parking location for exhibitors. Let Traffic personnel know you are presenting at Discovery Day. You may also unload along Central Ave. and then park elsewhere. Please move your vehicles immediately after unloading/loading as we are trying to keep Central Ave. free from vehicles.

FOOD VENDORS – Some food trucks will be set up in the parking lot by 20th and Trinity near the Ashley Pond Pavilion (and adjacent to the Bradbury Challenge Tomorrow trailers), while others will be opposite fuller lodge by Central, as indicated on the map. Food vendors - It is crucial that you haul out your own trash as it is required by the County. If you are using electricity, bring an extension cord and cover for the cord so it does not cause a tripping hazard. Food Vendors can set up as early as 7 AM if you’d like.

SPACE/ASSIGNMENTS – Space assignments were made according to the needs of exhibitors and the festival as a whole. Please bring your own banners to advertise your organization. A map is also provided via email attachment. The main aerial map will be shared publicly with media and there will be copies of all maps during Discovery Day at the Los Alamos MainStreet/INFO booth.

TENT/CANOPY BOOTH SIZE – 10 ft. x 10 ft. Tents, a table, and chairs were included in the price of the ticket at the time of booking. Booths that requested electricity have been provided the same as indicated on the map. Exhibitors in the “Vendor Alley” located opposite the beer garden and band have been asked to bring their own tent for a discounted ticket.

TENT/CANOPY SETUP – All tents and materials that you bring in should be secured. It is common to have high winds in Los Alamos. You must secure your tent using weights (NO STAKES).

ELECTRICAL HOOKUP - A limited number of electrical outlets were booked in advance and will be labeled with your organization name. If your booth is highlighted in yellow on the map, it means we have reserved electricity for you. Exhibitors who booked must provide their own 100’ electrical cord that will be plugged into a distribution box. Also bring a cover for your cord so it does not cause a tripping hazard, if it will be crossing a walkway.

WIFI – If you need access to WiFi, we have been told to use the “ladiscoveries” connection, as that will offer the fastest service.

ASSISTANCE – There will be volunteers around to help you with any questions or needs you might have; they will be wearing orange T-shirts and ScienceFest Staff will be wearing tie dye T-shirts. Please visit the Los Alamos MainStreet/INFO booth (#13), or call one of the organizer contact numbers listed below, should you not find immediate assistance.

EMERGENCY – Our info booth will serve as the Lost and Found. Any children who become separated from parents should be directed to our booth and we will assist. In case of emergency please contact the nearest staff member.

LIABILITY – Los Alamos MainStreet, County of Los Alamos, the Los Alamos Creative District and sponsors will assume no responsibility for theft or damage of equipment or merchandise at any time during your participation in this event. Please do not leave your booth unattended. Vendors/exhibitors are responsible for the compliance with all appropriate city and state ordinances/statues.
